Establishing a platform to help develop advanced technologies in digital archives

    The mission of the project is to develop visionary, key and innovative information technologies to improve the production and management of digital contents and provide flexibility and convenience in the application of digital archive products. The main areas of study are: multimedia technology, electronic audiovisual technology, digital rights management, language processing technology, metadata, missing characters and Chinese character composition paradigm, multi-mode information search techniques, communication networks, and a system integration service. The goal is to develop advanced digital archival technologies with a platform for technology integration. Moreover, the project continues to promote research on advanced technologies and follow the latest world trends in order to develop leading-edge technologies, thereby establishing technical thresholds and cultivating appropriate R&D talents. To achieve these targets, the project is developing a technology integration platform and advanced digital archive technologies
